I have been working as free-lance translator and interpreter since 1997. I deal mainly with technical translations, negotiations, assistance at National and International trade fairs and exhibitions.Among my usual customers: companies, publishers, advertising agencies, translation agencies, professional studies, privates.Translation tools
I am equipped with a PC, printer, scanner, internet connection. My operating system is Windows XP and I use Office XP.Translation tools: I use Wordfast and Transit as translation memory software. I am part of the free-lance translation unit of the European Commission, Translation Unit, for translation and editing from English and German into Italian. Publishing field: I translate articles for the Italian magazin ‘Le Scienze’, which publishes the Italian edition of the German ‘Gehirn & Geist’ and of ‘Scientific American’. Teaching: I have been teaching English to adult learners (elementary, intermediate, upper intermediate) in co-operation with regional bodies and local translation agencies since 2001 in local companies as well as in professional schools.References
